Liduin Stumpel, alt-mezzo, is a professional singer and singing teacher. She holds  degrees in music education, solo singing and conducting .She is a versatile performer, equally at home on the opera or concert stage, as well as in the intimate atmosphere of song recital. Warmth and brightness are characteristics of her voice.

She performed roles in operas by Monteverdi, Purcell, Mozart, Strauss, Thomas, Bizet, and Pijper. As a freelancer, she has been singing in many productions of The Dutch Opera Choir and Cappella Amsterdam. Since 2012 with Studium Chorale. She worked with conductors such as Ed Spanjaard, Daan Admiraal and Jos van Veldhoven. She also participated in radio, TV and CD recording programs.

Liduin gave in 2005 a recital at the Romanţe festival Crizanteme de Aur in Tirgovişte, Romania. Since 2008 she has been performing with her Balkan band Pálinka.
Sedenka is a Balkan choir for women under the leadership of Stumpel.

Liduin offers individual singing lessons and voice training to groups. She has a thriving teaching practice in Leiden. Her approach is honest and spontaneous. In a cheerful and skillful way she guides her students towards healthy singing
